On August 16th, 2015, students of EMBA class, lead by Professor Wu Xiaosong, visited Hishan Mechinery Co., Ltd.

The China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) is a non-profit institute co-founded by the Chinese Government and European Union, which is admitted by the State Council Academic Degree Committee. It is the first business school and the only one in Asia to have made it to the Financial Times’top 10, and the only business school in Asia to have simultaneously made it to the world’s top 30 list of MBA, EMBA and Executive Education programmes.

The students of EMBA class in CEIBS are elites of all walking lines. The visitors include Mr. Dong Zhenning, Mr. Xia Yiqiang, Mr. Cheng Peixiang and Mr. Zhang Jingxian. Mr. Dong is the vice president of Alibaba Group, Mr. Xia is the vice president of Tianjin Baodi Group, Mr. Cheng is the Party Secretary of Valin Lysteel, and Mr. Zhang the chairman of Shanghai Zhongsheng Science and Technolory.

The students visited assembly line of suction excavators and watched the on-site construction work of the suction excavator and the walking excavator that were just off the assembly line. They are attracted by the design of the products and the flexibility and convenience of the construction mode. In the afternoon, a symposium on enterprise products and culture was held in the meeting room. The students agreed our philosophy of innovation, sharing, and responsibility, and proposed advice on product marketing and application in the era of Internet plus. They finished their first-day visit in a pragmatic, relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

The next day, they went to Meizhou Island to experience Mazu culture. They visited the Mazu Museum and climbed the highest mountain in Mazu Culture Park to appreciate the beautiful scenery of Meizhou Island.

The activity sparked great influence in CEIBS and won high praise from all the teachers and students. The students understood the journey of independent innovation of an enterprise, learned local culture and social development, and experienced the beauty of nature through the activity. It was a rich and unforgettable experience.
