16th Oct, 2016, China’s first 15 ton heavy-duty unmanned walking excavator, designed and manufacaured by Fujian Hishan Machinery co., ltd, rolled off the production line. It is one of latest achievments proving Hishan’s ambition in focusing on market demand and capability in R&D.

The newly unveiled 15 ton umanned heavy-duty walking excavator is Hishan’ second generation walking excavator. It is an all terrain and multi-functional excavator which travels by wheel steering and leg steering. It can be applied in special conditions where other machineries fail to reach such as mines, steep slopes, plateaus, rivers, swamp. Its unparalleled advantages are reflected especially in rescues and relief in emergencies and natural disasters. It is widely used in constructions including military installation, highway, and railway, river dredging, digging communication lines, and drilling in complex terrain, rock breaking, lifting and transportation.

Under certain circumstance when rescue workers are barred from the diaster-affected area and can not operate the excavator on-site, Hishan developed the remote operation system that allows the operator to control the excavator within 100m of the affected area. This remote control system gives more leeway to the operator and greatly improved the maneuverability of the excavator.

Mainly engaged in R&D, manufacture and sales of construction equipment for special purposes including special environmental sanitation vehicles, walking excavators.Hishan achieved many breakthroughs in nondestructive excavation, river dredging and walking excavators, and has developed a series of products. The environmental-friendly suction excavators have integrated patented technologies .The world-leading core technologies, such as high-performance turbine technology and intelligent control system, have filled the gap in domestic nondestructive suction equipments, and can be widely used in construction fields, such as municipal construction, road maintenance, environmental protection, and disaster emergency response. As of today, Hishan Machinery has applied for 52 patents for their products and 16 of them have been approved.
